Powered by a (what else?) 400MHz ARM processor, the CommanderGauntlet is a all-in-one communications device integrated into a Neoprene/Kevlar glove. It’s paper vapor now, but check out the specs — tri-band GSM phone, on-board 2-way radio, 802.11g, GPS, Bluetooth, virtual network computing remote to Tablet PC, email, integrated solar backup, video control with camera accessory, RFID scanner (option), fold out keyboards; Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, this is going into a glove? I guess you can do anything with technology these days, provided you’re backed by fat stacks of homeland security money. Of course, I want one, and I’m sure I’ll enjoy my CommanderGauntlet quite a bit when they finally ship in 2011.
It really is amazing what they’re doing with Photoshop these days.
