These “Pervsaive Ambience” tile concept by Caleb Fung would an extremely elegant way to add unobtrusive function to rooms. Each tile can serve as a link in a network, providing power and information to various “node” tiles, including “lighting tiles, heated tiles, flat speaker tiles, and LCD tiles.” It would be wonderful if someone would make these; it would be more wondeful if someone made these an open standard.
