DAPreview reports on a new 1.5GB hard disk-based mp3 player from Teac called the MP-1000 which looks, all things considered, remarkably uninteresting. It does play OGG Vorbis, if that’s your thing, and manages to include an FM-tuner and USB 2.0 — which is notable only because of the surprising amount of modern players that still putter along over USB 1.1. I don’t think many people care about the 1.5GB players with the 4GB players so abundant, but as long as it’s cheap, it might stand a chance.
