A chance encounter with a bottle of bourbon left me ill-equipped to head out to the New York Toy Show this weekend, but Internet comes to the rescue. Wired has a nice overview of some of the latest things designed to use up the spare cycles of children, including this ‘Cyber Gear Expressions! Digital Radio,’ which clearly took its design inspiration from the 1957 Gibson Les Paul Stratocaster or from someone else who is dead and not holding any lawyer on retainer.
Also, the gun that shoots oil vapor-filled bubbles sounds like a blast.
