Some of you have been sending me this AP story about Nintendo’s announcement of a new console code-named “Revolution” (which will orient entirely around technology designed to make adorable kitten games. Neko neko!) I hadn’t been linking it because they already announced all this stuff at E3 and besides insane comments like “I don’t consider the PSP as a game machine so its arrival won’t affect Nintendo,” from a Japanese securities analyst, there’s really not a whole lot new being said. Consider both the next Xbox and the “Revolution” have, so far as we know, very similar hardware, I don’t think it’s time to get excited yet. But hey, thanks for the links!
