It’s PSP hour here on Gizmodo. Reader Alex writes:
I was on an Alitalia flight coming home from venice and one of the pilots approached me and told me I couldn’t use the PSP because it “interferes with the plane’s computer.” I told him the WiFi was turned off and he said it doesn’t make a difference.”
Anyone heard anything about this? No PSP on planes? Wazzat about?
UPDATE – Nick writes:
There are some airlines that have absolutely idiotic policies concerning inflight electronics. Alitalia is one, Aer Lingus is another. Potentially it’s because some European airlines forbid the use of any laser-operated devices (portable cd/dvd players, etc).
Regardless, it’s stupid.
