This is going to disappoint some people, but Smartphone Thoughts is reporting on a rumor that owners of Motorola’s MPx200 Smartphone won’t be able to update their phones to the 2003 version of the Windows Mobile operating system. Why? Because a newer version of the phone running the latest software, the MPx220, is expected soon and it’s not really in anyone’s interest (except, of course, the customer’s) to offer upgrades for older models.
