Nothing is more fun to write about than mystery gadgets that have no backstory and no included information, but sometimes you gots to take what you gets. So here you go: an unnamed Series 90 phone/pda/thing prototype from Nokia. I’m not even positive it’s Series 90, but the widescreen would certainly imply that. You can be sure it’s from Nokia, though, because it looks like a crappy science fiction chess board.
The picture is labelled Nokia 7710, for whatever that’s worth. If you recall, the 7700 was the Series 90 showcase phone that Nokia cancelled before it hit the market.
