Another 7710 review, this one a little harsher. Generally, what s the deal with Nokia designing phones for a specific genre that are extremely awkward to actually use as a phone? First the N-Gage, commonly described as holding a taco while actually using as a phone, now they have the 7710, like talking into a brick. For innovation the 7710 is terrific, but when it comes to practicality, wiping face grease off the large LCD screen after every use does not sound very enjoyable.
The media playing is mediocre, using RealPlayer, weak LCD screen in outdoor environments, no integrated wifi and all on-screen buttons for numpad and keyboard are all negatives.
