While the unsubsidized price of their flagging N-Gage gaming phone will remain €199, Nokia has announced major discounts and rebates in Europe, Africa, and Asia (and the US, likely) that could bring the price of their new N-Gage QD down to as low as €50 ($60) for many in an attempt to get the mobile console into more people’s hands. They have to do something to encourage people to adopt this platform, and while a low barrier to entry is a start, they’ve still got to make the games happen. (Thanks, Jeremy!)
