It may look extraterrestrial, but the inspiration behind swedish designer Markus Johansson’s Cirrata lamp actually makes its home in the ocean deep. Borrowing from the shapes of cirrata, a sub-family of octopuses, Johansson molded heat-formable corian on wooden bases to give the lamps their dynamic form.
