Well, the Dell Axim X50 was set to launch tomorrow anyway, but let’s turn this mother out tonight. There are two models with three different processor speeds—624MHz, 520MHz, and 416MHz—no huge surprise there. The Axim X50 and the X50v will differ mainly in their screens, with the former sporting a 3.5-inch 240 by 320 pixel QVGA screen, with the latter rocking a 480 by 640 VGA screen. Wi-Fi is standard on the X50v and optional on the X50, and Bluetooth 1.2 is built-in. Both have CompactFlash Type II and SDIO slots, and run Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition for Pocket PC with Media Player 10 Mobile.
