Although they’ll be obsolete in a couple years as we get the same level of quality imagers on our phones, it’s still nice to be in a time when $180 can bring home a perfectly decent 3.2-megapixel camera from someone like Olympus. The D-540/C-310Zoom (why they split the numbering convention cross-continents I’ll never know) is definitely on the low-end for Olympus, but besides the standard concessions like an all-plastic body, the D-540 is a perfectly able camera, providing nice quality images, quick and easy use, and a good value — at least according to Photography Blog. Maybe they just made it all up!
