While we’re on the camera tip, Olympus has announced a fistful of new cameras, including this Evolt E-300, an 8-megapixel DSLR that “is not bound by the conventions of traditional SLR film camera designs” and has a “radical new body shape…that gives the camera its unique “flat-top” appearance.” I think that means Olympus just created the first plus size bull dyke camera. Go girl!
There’s also the new D-590 Zoom, a 4-megapixel entry-level point-and-shoot, the AZ-2 (which we’ll put up a picture of here in just a second), a slimline, brushed metal 4-megapixel compact, and the m:robe, an all-in-one music player, image viewer, and digital camera that will be released in early 2005 (but no pictures yet).
