First thing is first, yes, this is called the 01+. I haven t even gotten to the specs and information about this thing and it is already pissing me off. Just something about being called the OQO 01+ isn t very consumer friendly. I propose it being called the OQO Happytime Machine.
This is easily the smallest and most portable machine capable of running Windows XP out today. It features a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, a 30GB hard drive, 3D graphics featuring 8MB video RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, FireWire, microphone and a 800 x 480 screen. This device weighs in at 14 ounces and is 4.9″ x 2.4″ x .9″. Also integrated is a full QWERTY keyboard hidden underneath a slide-out screen. Unfortunately this PC will cost you around $2,000 and the battery life only lasts around three hours.
