Midnight Sons
During his recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Oscar Isaac confirmed there’s been “interesting talk” at Disney and Marvel about a potential Midnight Sons movie.
Yeah, there was an interesting talk about Midnight Sons. Tonally, it’s really important because we’re playing with real stuff with that one. It’s expressing something very real, challenging, and difficult. I feel like if you’re gonna go, you gotta take it seriously as well. Even though it’s a crazy comic book, but that’s what it’s trying to do; it’s doing both of those things.
Green Bank
THR reports Brittany O’Grady, Kumail Nanjiani, Jim Belushi, and Taylor John Smith will star alongside Tatiana Maslany in Green Bank, a “sci-fi horror thriller” from Heart Eyes director Josh Ruben. Set in Green Bank, West Virginia, the story concerns “a real world town that has been known since the late 1950s for having a ‘quiet zone’ that severely limits radio and electronic transmissions due to scientific research being conducted in the area. It has since been expanded to include Wi-Fi and cell service. O’Grady is playing the lead of the story, which follows infant sleep-trainer who discovers that the parents of the child she is caring for are far more than the clueless yuppies they appear to be.”
