Is it Christmas yet? Can we start drinking? Is that what people do for Christmas, or just my family? We get together over a steaming mug of Nyquil to share in The Yule Sob, then donate our tears to charity.
There are still a few people kicking out there in gadget land, I hear, like Ovideon—they just announced a new portable media player with an OLED screen. And even cooler, they’re based right here in the US of A, in beautiful Silicon, uhm, Illinois. And even though the screen is sort of small (or at least appears to be—I can’t find official stats) it has a relatively high resolution of 512 by 218 pixels, as well as a 1-inch hard drive inside. LiveDigitally is quoting a price of $600, though, so you’re going to really want an OLED screen player to shell out that cash.
Unlike the iPod Photo, the Ovideon player has a built-in cable TV tuner and can record video.
