Not quite sure what to make of this, but rumor has it that Palm is working on a Linux-based OS for their handhelds and smartphones, thereby confusing and potentially impressing us.
The first clue was that Palm has been looking for Linux developers since last year and now there is a specific listing for a Linux engineer to work on a new “software platform.” While this is all hearsay and conjecture, it could bring scads of geeklove from the Palm community.
