It’s official. PalmSource is changing the name of Palm OS 6 to Palm OS Cobalt, and developing an enhanced versuon Palm OS 5 to be called Palm OS Garnet. The idea is that both OSes will continue to be developed, with Palm OS Garnet aimed at lower-end smartphones.
