Panasonic electronics surrounding a Leica lens produces the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC50-S, an entry-level camera designed to help push Panasonic into a market it has previously left to Sony and the traditional camera companies. TrustedReviews takes the 3.2-megapixel/3x optical zoom camera out for a bit, and finds it decent, but definitely a budget model, with a plastic body, no rechargeable battery, and quite a bit of noise in the pictures.
