UK Design firm PDD will be showing off their Helix concept phone at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes and it looks stunning. While it hasn’t been picked up by a mobile manufacturer yet, the design concept has plenty of tricks, including a rotating screen that flips around when the clamshell is open, as well as a built-in 5-megapixel camera. The Helix could even have 20GB of storage if picked up (it’s surprisingly easy to add features to something that doesn’t exist yet).
If someone does decide to produce the Helix, it won’t reach market until late 2006 or early 2007, so start saving now.
