DesignTechnica has a nice round-up of five new Philips phones announced yesterday that flew under our radar (maybe because they are Europe-only). In order from the left, the Philips 162 is a basic candybar phone in four colors; the Philips 568, billed as one of the “most compact video phones available today”; the Philips 760, a clamshell with a 1.3-megapixel sensor; the Philips 655, with a built-in mirror for self-portraits, also in clamshell form; and the Philips Xenium 9@98, a rather drab candybar with a kick ass battery life, offering 7 hours of talk time and 4 weeks of standby on a single charge.
