An angry Kiwi man sent roughly 2,580 text messages a day in May to protest his mobile company’s decision to cancel its unlimited text messaging deal, for a total of 80,012 for the whole month. He got his point across, however futile it might be in the end — while his current unlimited plan costs only $6.29 a month, after the rate hike the same amount of messaging would cost more than $10,000.
