Prime Day has been off to a good start. We’re now more than halfway through the big summer savings event from Amazon. If you haven’t found a cool new gadget to treat yourself to for a huge discount, there’s still time. Perhaps you’re in the market for a new pair of earbuds to which I’d say, “Good news.”

Amazon has the Google Pixel Buds 2a selling for a 23% discount thanks to Prime Day. On a typical day, you could find these earbuds selling for $129. But on Prime Day, they’re now going for only $99. That discount ends up saving you a good $30 for a limited time.

The Google Pixel Buds 2a are a solid set of earbuds with support for active noise cancellation. This is powered by both the Google Tensor A1 chip along with a silent seal design that helps to block out unwanted external noises from coming through.

ANC is a great way to focus on only the sounds you want to focus on, be that your music, audiobook, or podcast. When times comes that you’d like to engage with the outside world yet again, simple switch the earbuds over to Transparency Mode. this will allow those sounds from your environment to come through once again.

The noise cancellation at play also works wonders to enhance call quality. You can answer your phone via the earbuds and have the built-in mics work to isolate your voice from your surroundings. This way folks on the other end will be hearing you and only you, loud and clear.

Twist for a Secure Fit

Google has ensured that its Pixel Buds 2a can work for a wide range of ear shapes and sizes. They make use of a twist-design that allows you to adjust how tightly they are sitting in your ear. You can twist the earbuds nice and tight when participating in activities that might make you fearful of them otherwise falling out, such as a high-intensity workout at the gym. Then when you’ve made it back to your desk at the office to crank through some work, you can untwist them to have a more relaxed fit.

These earbuds have a decent bit of battery life. With the earbuds alone, you can expect to get up to eight hours of listening time while using the active noise cancellation or up to 20 hours without.

The Google Pixel Buds 2a comes in three different colors. Get a pair in either hazel, berry, or iris (black red, or purple). All three options are currently part of the Prime Day deal that brings them down to just $99.
