The UK-based company is poised to release this bamboo widescreen LCD in the next few weeks, which would make a fine companion to the earlier-discussed bamboo mouse and keyboard and iPod shuffle case. This monitor was even mentioned on Sky News in the UK, so you know it’s the real deal.

The bamboo (useless trivia: bamboo is actually a grass and not wood) is coated with a substance that supposedly keeps pests at bay, which helps prevent the monitor from turning into mush. It’ll be available for about $640.
