EM411 has a nice review of the PlusDesk2, the 5.25-inch bay-sized cassette deck that is designed to interface with your PC. The English localization of the software (which is kludgey and slow to begin with) is occasionally unfinished, plus it seems to put out a lot of heat (6 to 7 Celsius by his measurement). That being said, it does work as advertised and can even be used to record from your PC back to tape, which the reviewer astutely points out could be very handy to those still fiddling with Commodore 64s and the like.
