It looks like someone ordered a few too many Podwave speakers for the iPod, as MacConnection is selling the $30 AA-powered clip-ons with a $30 mail-in rebate. After shipping, you’ll end up with a pair of highly-portable $9 speakers. But before you ask me how they sound, I’ve never heard these in my life. By design alone, the stereo separation would be sub-optimal. And of course, you’re free to use them with anything that has an 1/8th-inch jack (if it’ll let them sit flush). (Thanks, Jon!)
