One of those why-hasn’t-anyone-done-this- before gadgets is for sale at Dynamism: Sharp’s new MT-AV1, which is like an MP3 player, but for video. It’s about the size of a mini-disc player, and can record directly off of a television or DVD player, or perhaps most importantly, play video files copied from your PC. Imagine bringing this on an airplane with you, with a few downloaded movies or episodes of the Simpsons on it. Let’s hope that Sharp decides to release this for the US market.
