A company called Qool Labs has announced its first Palm OS smartphone, which just happens to be the first Palm-powered phone with a built-in 1.3-megapixel camera. The QDA-700 runs Palm OS Garnet, comes with a software package that includes MP3 and MPEG4 players, and has 240 x 320 pixel screen. Oh, and an SDIO slot, so you can probably work some add-on peripheral fushnikens at some point in the future.
Don’t expect a proper launch in the US, but Asia and Europe should see it in November for an as-yet-unspecified price.
