Now that the ROKR is out and about, Motorola is planning on putting Apple’s iTunes on its next gen RAZR phone, now nicknamed the RAZR2. Apart from improved noise-canceling and a cool feature called “airplane mode” that lets you listen to your songs without the cell phone completely turned on, expect a larger LCD and stereo music over Bluetooth. But like the ROKR, you’ll only be able to pack 100 songs onto this version of iTunes. Motorola has also mentioned that we can expect more iTunes phones on a quarterly basis. Of course, keep in mind that this deal is not exclusive, so we could very well see other handset makers jumping on the bandwagon soon enough.
