Reports of wafting Japanese radiation reaching the West Coast have been crawling across news tickers and popping into headlines for a few days now, but is there any cause for concern? In a word: no.
The EPA RadNet radiation monitoring system is tracking gamma and beta radiation (bad stuff) in the LA area, and says, as of now, “These levels are thousands of times below any conservative level of concern.” Thousands.
