Good news for your brittle bird bones—Nokia is apparently working on a new batch of Lumias for 2013, and they're supposed to be much lighter.

Apparently the next-gen Windows Phones will ditch the current polycarbonate build for an all aluminum body, making it lighter and thinner. Codenamed Catwalk, the device is said to be the followup to the Lumia 920, which at 185 grams is heavy as hell. Nokia wouldn't chat up more slender Lumias, telling us: "Per company policy, we don't comment on market rumors or speculation."

I'm all for lighter aLUMIAnums, sheerly for the wordplay possibilites. And also these insufferable T-Rex arms. [The Verge]
