The Caplio RX is the new top-end model in the Ricoh line and has much to recommend it: 5-megapixel sensor, wide-angle lens, and “world’s fastest” shutter response and start up times (no more missing the premature money shot), all for a mostly reasonable price of around $500. Photography Blog took one out for a little test drive, and try to discover if the barely-adequate image quality of the previous Ricoh Caplios continues to plague the product line. The short answer? Yeah, it sort of still does.
