Although they aren’t getting as much buzz as the new Rio Carbon, the three new flash player models of the Rio Forge line have been revealed today as well. Sharing a similar shape to the Rio Cali (although glossier, for what that’s worth) the new models come in three capacities (and colors), a 512MB (blue), a 256MB (silver), and a 128MB model (red), all of which accept SD/MMC card, meaning even the smallest red version can be expanded by up to 1GB at a time. No idea how much the Forge will cost or when it will be released, but since it’s already on the Rio website, I’d say a late August date (around the same time as the Carbon) is a reasonable guess.
