Runco is known for its high end equipment and its latest legion of plasmas are no exception. Ranging from the 42-inch PlasmaWall SP-42DHD to the 60-inch CinemaWall SP-60, the new displays use Runco’s special sauce (aka Vivix II processing) to make standard definition material look like high-def. Those are pretty lofty claims, as few TVs are capable of really making standard def programming jump out. The displays come with the usual A/V inputs including RGB, DVI with HDCP, and component. Resolutions range from 1,024×768 to 1,365×768, so keep looking if you’re after 1080p. We’ll update with pricing as soon as it comes in.
