In this video exchange between Russian President Dmitri Medvedev and state technology official Sergei Chemezov, the country's first ever domestically-developed 4G phone is showed off with pride. And the kicker? Two screens!

According to our crack team of Russian translators, the device will be made by Russian telecom firm Yota, and although that rear screen looks like an e-ink display (which could be awesome, come to think of it), the panel is just a nonfunctional mockup.

This would be very awesome if it lost the banana-phone shape.

As for the e-ink back, I could think of some good uses. Such as, you could get a roll up keyboard and type using the e-ink display. It would save the all important battery life.

Although, if both sides are touch screens that could get... Odd... It would have to have some way of detecting (perfectly) which side is being looked at. Some sort of combination of a constant face detection+accelerometer.
