In what at least to me seems like a proper waste of time spent both researching and developing, Saab has announced that they are working on a keychain breathalyser. Because losing your keys isn’t already an ordeal enough, now you’ll be losing your keys and a $400 key fob that carries with it the healthy insinuation that you can’t lay off the sauce for a night to anyone who sees it. Says Saab’s global President and CEO, “Saab Alcokey will help those who want to be sure they should only get behind the wheel when they are fit to drive.” Because little red LEDs don’t let friends drive drunk.
Actually, I think this is sort of great (once the price comes down, and it will).
