Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 4 Pro feature a two-way speaker in each earbud, with a woofer and a tweeter. Together, these two drivers deliver deeper bass and cleaner highs than a single driver can. The buds have adaptive noise canceling that adjusts to your environment in real time, and compatible Galaxy phones let you listen to your content in 24-bit/96kHz Hi-Fi quality. They also have an IP57 rating that protects them from dust and water, and they offer 6 hours of playback with ANC and up to 26 hours total.

Amazon has the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro on sale for $220, down from the usual $250. You save $30, which is about 12% off.

Flagship wireless earbuds with two drivers per side and adaptive noise canceling

The Buds 4 Pro are Samsung’s top-tier earbuds, ideal for long trips, listening to music, making calls, and more. They include a two-way speaker system, adaptive ANC, Ambient mode, six microphones for calling, and Live Translation, and the buds feature a new minimalist design with a metal stem.

Each earbud has two speakers in a two-way configuration with one woofer and one tweeter. By splitting the speakers this way, the woofer handles low-frequency sounds while the tweeter takes care of high-frequency sounds such as vocals and cymbals. You can adjust EQ settings in the Galaxy Wearable app to customize how your music sounds. Using a compatible Galaxy phone, you can stream your content at up to 24-bit/96kHz resolution thanks to Samsung’s Seamless Codec.

Using adaptive ANC, the buds analyze ambient noise in your surroundings in real time and adjust noise cancellation accordingly. For example, if you’re on a busy train, it turns up the noise canceling, and if you’re sitting quietly at a desk, it turns it down. If you need to hear something going on around you, such as an announcement on a bus or someone trying to speak to you, you can switch to Ambient mode by pinching and holding either earbud.

The Buds 4 Pro’s six-microphone setup and voice pickup unit deliver better call quality by suppressing background noise while isolating your voice. The ability to accept or decline an incoming call using head gestures by nodding yes or shaking no adds convenience and utility in complicated situations when your hands are full, like when you’re grocery shopping or holding a cup of coffee or a bag.

The Buds 4 Pro also offer Live Translation for anyone who needs to communicate with people who speak different languages, and the feature requires a compatible Galaxy phone. They also support 360 Audio, providing an enhanced listening experience.

As for battery life, depending on whether you have ANC on or off, the buds can last 6 to 7 hours of continuous use per charge. The charging case holds enough power for roughly 20 additional hours, bringing the total to 26 hours with ANC enabled and up to 30 hours without ANC. You can charge the case via USB-C or wirelessly with a Qi-compatible charging pad.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro have an IP57 rating, which makes them dust-tight and able to handle submersion in water, so heavy exercise, humid environments, and rainstorms don’t affect their performance. Samsung also includes Bluetooth 6.1 and Auracast support for added convenience, along with three sizes of silicone ear tips that fit comfortably for isolation and comfort during extended wear.
