On the hunt for a new tablet? Samsung just launched the new Galaxy Tab A11+ a little over a month ago back in January of this year. And yet, it’s already been discounted. That’s right, Amazon has the 128GB model of this Galaxy tablet for 16% off. That cuts a good $40 off the price, bringing it down from $250 to just $210. It that’s not enough storage for you, you can double your capacity and get the same $40 off. The 256GB model which launched at a price of $310 is now selling for just $270 at Amazon, representing a 13% discount.

Performance

Diving into the specs of this Samsung tablet, we have a screen capable of displaying in resolutions of 1920 by 1200 pixels, in a 16:10 ratio with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Measuring in at 11-inches across, two people can comfortably view the screen together at the same time. Great for long car rides or sitting side by side on a plane with a movie you brought along for the trip.

It includes 8GB of RAM to ensure smooth multitasking, allowing you to hop between apps for your day to day tasks with ease. The upgraded chipset can provide 26% more CPU power and 83% more GPU power than the previous model.

For a tablet, audio is pretty impressive. Though, Samsung’s product page is really swinging for the fences by calling it “cinema-like.” The “like” is pretty load-bearing here. No one is expecting a handheld tablet to match the audio quality of going to your local movie theater. However, the tablet does have quad speakers built in that support Dolby Atmos sound, so you still might be blow away by how good it sounds compared to what you might be expecting.

Battery life is pretty reliable. Samsung hasn’t provided exact number for how long it will last you and how quickly it can recharge, but the company assures you the batter is “long-lasting,” and that it can come back to 100% “quickly.” The numbers we do have are that it has a total capacity of 7,040mAh and can recharge at up to 25W.

Google Gemini

As most new tech in the last couple years, the Galaxy Tab A11+ is built for the age of AI. Samsung totes its intelligent features that are designed to make tasks easier with the assistance of Google Gemini, like the ability to search anything on your screen simply by searching it.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ is available in your choice of either gray or silver. At the time of writing, the 128GB model in silver is out of stock, but all other combinations are still available at that $40 limited-time discount.
