Samsung is spreading some Holiday cheer to Verizon customers. Rumor has it that its i760 smartphone is coming to Verizon in Q2 of next year. While it’s no Blackjack, the phone does have all the markings of a capable smartphone like Bluetooth 2.0, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, and 1x EV-DO. It’s also supposed to have Wi-Fi, but we’re sure Verizon will cripple it. I’m in the market for a new smartphone and as tempting as the i760 is I’m hesitant about that slide-out keyboard. The fact that it runs Windows Mobile ain’t doing much to win me over either.
