According to yesterday’s press release from Samsung, the tri-band SGH-D500 (which we first told you about here) has been unveiled and is scheduled to hit the European market in the fourth quarter of this year. It remains pretty vanilla features-wise for a Euro phone, but it does have a pretty reasonable 80MB of storage for photos taken with the 1.3-megapixel camera, as well as 10 ’embedded special effects’ for the ‘Phonoshop’ filterist (perfect for experimenting with crèativitè fausse while they’re riding their Vespas to the Louvre). Anyway, new phone! Yay!
