Samsung Stops, Hammer Times

Now I’m not a rap star anymore, but I’m fairly certain that if I were going to revive my flagged career, a pasty white VP from Samsung would not be my go-to guy, especially if his nickname was “The Hammer.” It’s sort of hard to figure out who to pity more in this picture, although I’m leaning towards the guy on the left, who just probably at the Samsung conference for the free donuts.

who would have ever thought that a big rapper like MC Hammer would be standing online this morning at Caroline’s Comedy Club to meet the technology keynoter at the AdWeek/Billboard marketing conference to learn more about how he can relaunch his career. Peter Weedfald, Senior VP of Samsung, (also known as the Hammer because he never gives up) told the music business how Samsung’s 380 Internet banners located on every major media website (representing 1.6 billion users) has become the new beloved channel of distribution for music,Hollywood and other entertainment entities. Bon Jovi recently launched its new CD “This Left Feels Right” on Samsung’s Internet channel and others are lining up.
