How often are you finding yourself needing to clear some room from your camera roll before it lets you record a new video? Digital storage is something can fill up quickly.  And if you’re always on the hunt for higher capacity storage—whether you’re using it with your phone, your computer, or even a gaming console—this deal is worth a look.

Amazon is currently listing the T7 portable SSD as up to 35% off. The 1TB model is listed at $275, but on sale for $190. The 2TB model is listed at $550, but on sale for $360. And then lastly, the 4TB model is listed at $1,095, but marked down to $800.

While these look like deals on the surface, the prices are still pretty hefty. Thanks to the huge shift in focus on AI in enterprise spaces, storage prices have skyrocketed. Just last Fall, this $800 4TB option was only around $250. The $190 1TB option was evenly under $100. There’s no real indication when storage prices will return to their original values, but these sales do represent a momentary trend back down in the right direction. They’re still inflated a bit, but if you’re desperate for some more storage, the T7 prices are better than where they were at in May.

Made for the Makers

The Samsung T7 SSD is an excellent pick for creators. It supports fast read and write speeds of up to 1,050/1,000 MB/s. That’s roughly 9.5 times faster than a standard external HDD.

You can use the Samsung T7 directly with cameras to record on them in up to 4K resolution at up to 60 frames per second. It’ll even work with an iPhone, letting you plug into the SSD over USB-C and recording into a designated photo as opposed to directly into your phones camera roll. This is a handy way to keep your professional and personal content separate.

The SSD is designed to be portable, seen with its tiny form factor. The Samsung T7 only measures across at 2.2 inches wide, 3.3 inches long, and 0.3 inches thick. It only weights 2.5 ounces. The drive will easily fit into your pocket or a small compartment on your bag.

Now there is a even more durable version of this SSD available. The T7 shield is the same drive but also wrapped in a rubberized exterior. That one has been drop tested, measured to withstand falls up to 9.8 ft. Even without that extra protective material, the standard Samsung T7 SSD with its solid aluminum unibody construction can still withstand falls of up to 6 ft.
