Samsung Unveils Ultra-Edition Cellphones

Samsung has unveiled three phones that are part of the “Ultra-Edition” line of cellphones. The three phones include the Ultra Edition 6.9—or X820&mdashwhich is a candybar style phone being labeled as the world’s slimmest phone; the Ultra Edition 12.9—or D900— which is a slider phone targeted at business professionals and the Ultra Edition 9.9—or D830—which is claimed to be the world’s thinning clamshell.

The 6.9 candybar phone is only .27 inches thick and features a 2 megapixel camera, triband GSM, EDGE, USB, Bluetooth and TV-out. The 12.9 slider has a 3.13 megapixel camera, music player, Micro SD expandability and a unique user interface. The 9.9 clamshell features a large 2.3-inch screen and 2 megapixel camera along with all of the other standard features like Bluetooth, memory expandability, etc. The 9.9 is only .38 inches thick.
