So, for this generation of Samsung LCDs, this is as good as the picture gets. In summary, David Katzmaier loved the set.

The black level performance was probably not as good as the 81 series that uses LEDs (which I love.) But combined with the highly accurate colors, streaming of weather and stock data across the screen, 120Hz video processing, and excellent standard def processing earned this TV an Editor's Choice. I have the 46 incher and love it -if the price is the same bigger is better. I'm guessing the 52 incher doesn't do 1080 or something. There must be a drawback. I highly recommend getting the robotic arm which you control with the tv remote also made by samsung. It tilts, rotates, and telescopes which is nice for glare issues.
