I’ve got nothing to add to the rumors swirling of a new iPod with a built-in Sirius satellite radio receiver. My initial thought is that it’s probably nigh-on impossible to cram all the hardware necessary for a satellite receiver and antenna into an iPod of the current sizes, but I’m only making that assessment from the size of XM and Delphi’s MyFi player, but still. My gut instinct is that the January 11th MacWorld is going to be a disappointment from an iPod perspective—both a flash-based iPod and a satellite-receiving iPod just don’t sit right with me for some reason. I’m perfectly happy to be wrong, though, especially about the Sirius model.
