Sega Neo Geo Controller for PS2

For me, nothing beats a good D-pad and an analog thumbstick for gaming, but for the ultimate fighting game championships, it’s hard to go wrong with a nice 8-way joystick. And while it’s not my favorite stick from history (the metal-shod, Ghostbusters II NES Advantage probably is nearest to my heart), the Neo Geo controller certainly has a certain something, not the least of which is that it was the first home gaming console controller that had a proper joystick (Atari, et al not withstanding).

So all that’s to say, Sega Logistics and SNK Playmore have teamed up to release a new version of the classic controller, called the ‘Neo Geo Stick 2,’ with 4 extra buttons to work with the Sony Playstation 2. It’s a strange landscape, isn’t it, with Sega releasing an SNK design on a Sony platform.
