Joe was—the division that provided dental plans for ninja and let their foot soldier-roasting flamethrower specialist call himself ‘Barbecue’ ‘Blowtorch’ (okay, that’s not so bad)—but it looks like the modern-day equivalent is going to be the Marines, at least when it comes to the vehicles. This new Shadow RST-V is a 168hp diesel-burning four-banger that uses hub-mounted magnet motors in the wheel to give it a burst of speed from batteries storied in the back. Unfortunately, initial reports show that as soon as the Shadows are uncrated, the Marines quickly misplace all the missiles.
