I’m going to presume that Escada is some fashion brand I haven’t heard about (I stopped going to Gawker’s in-house editorial classes “The ABCs of Fancy” sometime around “Ass, Grass, or Blass—Nobody Writes for Free”), but they’ve teamed up with Siemens to offer a “swankypants” SL65 with a pearl and metallic finish (and the ever-present Swarovski ‘crystals’) to go with their 2004 “Denim and Diamonds” theme. There are even freshwater pearls attached to a silver Escada logo, which as any smart Harrods shopper knows are the perfect baubles to advertise you just spent £600 on a shiny, limited-edition trinket.
