Sirius Goes Into Orbitcast

Reading time 1 minute

Sirius unveiled its first wearable portable radio today, the S50. It schedule records up to 50 hours of programming, and supports MP3/WMA libraries through a PC dock. Full color display and voice-assisted channel navigation (wha?!?) are included in the 1.9-inch by 3.9-inch black on silver case. Available in October for $359.99.

Update: Reader Marty Z says: From what it sounds like, the Sirius S50 is not capable of obtaining a satellite signal WITHOUT its docking station… ‘wearable radio’ is a bit of a stretch — maybe ‘wearable mp3 player.’
